Pursuant to the provisions of Public Act No. 230 of 1972 (MCL 125.1501 et seq., MSA
5.2949(1) et seq.), as amended, and Public Act No. 33 of 1951 (MCL 41.801 et seq.,
MSA 5.2640(1) et seq.), as amended, BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, Eighth edition,
1990, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International,
Inc., is adopted by reference as the fire prevention code for the township for the
control of buildings and structures as provided in such code, and is made a part of
this article as if fully set forth in this article, subject to the modifications contained
in section 10-102, and subject to such further modifications as the township shall from time to time
adopt by ordinance.
